Greenridge AstraForte (astra forte) was developed to meet the needs of those people whose immune system reserves have become depleted. Potential causes of a distributed immunity vary from simple recurrent infections like cold & flu, through to more serious things like Glandula Fever, Ross River Fever, and even Hepatitis, HIV-AIDS or cancer. Immune dysfunction can also be triggered by physical trauma, certain drugs, chemotherapy, psychological stress or develop gradually without obvious "trigger" event.
If follows that if the immune system has depleted reserves, a stimulant like Echinacea cannot work effectively. It is therefore necessary to restore the immune system's competency and power, so Echinacea can work again. These explains why some people suffering recurrent infections do not respond well to Echinacea. These people must have their immune system reserves restored before immune stimulation is possible.

- Reishi Mushroom (root):Builds stamina and endurance. Increases white blood cell count. It has demonstrated anti-tumor and antioxidant activity.
